STEP #1:

Understand that God desires fellowship and companionship with you.

God gave His own Son to provide an abundant and everlasting life.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16).

STEP #2:

Realize that you are separated from God.

There is a gap between you and God.

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

STEP #3:

Accept the solution to sin and separation from God.

There is only one way provided:

"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5).

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8).

For in John 14:6 we read,

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

STEP #4:

Pray and receive Jesus Christ as Lord

Ask Jesus Christ to take away your sin and to come into your heart to be your Lord and Savior.

God's Word is very clear:

"Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20).

And the Bible tells us,

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved" (Romans 10:9).

STEP #5:

Pray to Receive Jesus Christ into your life.

At this moment you can pray the most important prayer of your life by simply saying:

Dear Lord Jesus,
I believe You are the Son of God. I believe you died for me on the cross and shed Your blood for my salvation. I believe you rose from the dead on the third day. Please Forgive my sin. Cleanse me now with Your precious blood. Come into my heart. Save my soul right now. I give you my life. I receive You now as my Savior, my Lord, and my God. I am Yours forever, and I will serve You and follow You the rest of my days.
Amen!

By praying this prayer, confessing your sins, and receiving Jesus Christ into your heart, God has given you the right to become His forgiven child. The Bible gives you this assurance:

"But as many as received him, to them he gave the power to become the sons of God, even to them who believe on his name" (John 1:12).
